Tibits of Sealed with a Kiss' Mini-Movie Storyline

I've been doing some intense browsing on Chinese forums to scout more information about plot of the mini-sequel. Some fans actually went to visit the film sets. They were able to watch the cast shoot some of their scenes and posted online what they saw.

Basic Info:
  • Will most likely be released before Valentine's Day
  • Mini-movie completed shooting in 156 hours (6.5 days). Ying'er spent 80 hours on the set to shoot her scenes while Hawick Lau stayed 60 hours. I honestly hope this isn't an indication of their actual screen-time in the mini-movie. 
  • The original director and scriptwriter did not return to work on this project. The entire feel of the series/story will mostly likely be different. Don't have too high of an expectation!
  • Confirmed cast members: Hawick Lau (Mo Shaoqian), Ying'er (Tong Xue), Li Zhinan (Xiao Shan), Wen Mengxiang (Liu Yueying), Chu Hanlun (Zhang Zhiyuan), Liu Kenan (Zhao Gaoxing), Zheng Long (Wen Hao) and Angelina Ma Wei (new sexy looking character).

SPOILER!
  • Tong Xue returns from abroad. She and Mo Shaoqian spent two happy days together. 
  • Tong Xue and Mo Shaoqian will have to face a test/challenge of "life/death."
  • Mo Shaoqian and Tong Xue have a "bed scene"
  • Tong Xue wears a wedding band on her ring finger
  • Li Zhinan may play another character in addition to Xiao Shan. (Speculation)
  • Tong Xue gets kidnapped
  • Mo Shaoqian goes to a nightclub and flirts with a group of 20 women. Tong Xue tracks him down and confronts Mo Shaoqian in a gray bunny suit. I think it's a bunny suit. LOL. 
  • Tong Xue raises her hand to slap Mo Shaoqian, but he restrains her before she manages to smack his face.
A fan saw this scene being filmed and posted online:

Mo Shaoqian said in a calm, low voice to Tong Xue, "Why are you so annoying?" Then raised his voice to say, "Don't think that I spent two days with you and you can get too full of yourself. I was never short on my supply of women. Blah blah blah he continued with his insults. Tong Xue, extremely hurt by his cruel words, started to scream curses at him. "Mo Shaoqian, you animal (qin shou)! You deserved to go to hell!" Mo Shaoqian replied, "Thank you!" He then grabbed his wine glass and drank the whole glass of wine in one gulp. My gosh, so drool-worthily handsome!

 Angelina Ma plays a new character who tries to seduce Mo Shaoqian. We will see her flirt with him at a night club.

Are you unsatisfied and frustrated with the final episode? Expected a happily ever after? Apparently, the scriptwriter succeeded in getting us all hooked onto this series for 28 episodes and suddenly bombarded us with a really CRAPPY open ending. My reaction when I first finished watching the final shot of Mo Shaoqian  walking lonely toward the police station was like this...   I so expected the last scene to be the novel's ending where Tong Xue cried at the airport, and not Shaoqian at the police station!  At minimum, I think they should have put Shaoqian's police station scene before Tong Xue's airport scene. Then show us Shaoqian at the airport watching Tong Xue's cries from a distance, as described in the epilogue. To cure my poorly frustrated mood, I rushed to reread the dreamily happy epilogue that the author wrote for Sealed with a Kiss novel. Character Guide to Nirvana in Fire 2: Wind Blows in Changlin

Like Nirvana in Fire I, Nirvana in Fire 2: Winds Blow in Changlin has a plethora of characters that are not strictly good or evil. In terms of story execution, the sequel can be split into three phases, each driven by one of the three leading male characters. The central figure of the first phase is Huang Xiaoming's Xiao Xiaozhang whose intelligence and political shrewdness are well exhibited from Episode 1 to 25. The second phase is led by Liu Haorang's Xiao Pingjing. Although Xiao Pingjing also figures prominently in the first phase, his moment to shine is actually from Episode 28 onward. The focal character of the last phase is undoubtedly the antihero, Wu Haochen's Xiao Yuanqi. His slow progression into darkness and moral conflict bring the story into a new climate. Ru Yi: The drama that brought Hawick Lau and Yang Mi together

I'm sure many of you have heard the surprised announcement on January 8th about Yang Mi and Hawick Lau admitting to their romantic relationship on Sina weibo.  Personally, I always wanted Yang Mi to hook up with her Gong co-star, Feng Shaofeng, but that's wishful thinking. Real life is totally different from onscreen pairing. Trivia : Yang Mi was actually the producers' first choice to play Tong Xue in Sealed with a Kiss. I think she was offered the role, but she turned it down to accept another project, Beijing Love Story. I remember during the casting phase, the casting decision for Tong Xue was announced last while it was publicized pretty early that Hawick Lau would play Mo Shaoqian. Thus, many fans speculated for a long time that Yang Mi was cast as Tong Xue.
